As one of the largest mutual insurance events on the East Coast, this year, the PAMIC Convention includes attendees from all over Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic region.

The State of the Legal and Litigation Landscape

A super-charged panel will share national and PA insights on impactful decisions and opportunities for reform. Learn what insurers and our industry might be able to do to identify and survive the impacts on claims handling in PA.
ERM for Mutuals
Pandemics, wildfires, social inflation, ESG, and some of the worst CATs in decades. If there was ever a time for a strong ERM program, it's now. This session will present the fundamentals of a strong ERM program for today’s mutual. Discussion will include key components Such as risk assessment, monitored risks, evolving risks and how ESG can be woven into an ERM framework. Attendees are encouraged to share experiences, emerging risks, and offer practical advice to one another.
The Future of Risk Management
Pete Miller, President, The Institutes
Based on his recent podcast, The Institutes President and CEO Peter Miller discusses an emerging strategy of harnessing technology and prioritizing resiliency to combat the biggest risk challenges facing society. He will examine how traditional risk management, which relies heavily on insurance and detecting and repairing after a loss occurs, is transitioning to Prediction & Prevention to keep up with a changing risk landscape.
