Last week, Boenning & Scattergood Investment Banking Group hosted a conference call with Stefan Holzberger, Chief Rating Officer of A.M. Best Company, to discuss the rating agency’s latest thoughts on the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the insurance industry. A.M. Best has been gathering information from all of its rated insurance companies and is stress-testing each company’s capital and liquidity. Bottom line – with the exception of a minority of companies, A.M.
