Attendees had two busy days, beginning with networking and education from Michael Humphreys, Commissioner, PA Insurance Department, and a Federal Overview from Alex Gleason, AVP of Federal Affairs at National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC)

Lisa Katterman and Natasha Romero provided PAMIC and PAMIC PAC updates, keeping everyone informed of the happenings and issues facing the industry.

David Grenadier, Executive Director for Rep. Tina Pickett took the time to speak with the group about the work the House Insurance Committee is doing in Harrisburg.

Thank you to our PAMIC Government Affairs Committee and Committee Chair, Robert Dodds from Lititz Mutual Insurance Company for a great program.

On Tuesday, attendees had the opportunity to have breakfast and meet with their legislators at the state capitol to represent PAMIC and their companies and inform them of the issues facing the insurance industry in today's world.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend, present or visit-- we hope you enjoyed your time with us and look forward to next year's Mutual Insurance Day!

It is with mixed emotions that we share Brittany Bargo, Director of Communications and Technology, has been presented with a fantastic opportunity and will be leaving PAMIC beginning February 14. Britt is an integral part of the PAMIC team, and her absence will be felt. As Director, Communications and Technology, Britt figuratively and literally kept the motors running here and has helped move the needle for PAMIC into the digital age. Through her direction, leadership, and relationships, Britt has brought tremendous value to PAMIC members for over her four years. Britt has assisted greatly in training and orientation, and her unique skills will make her shoes hard to fill. Please help us wish Britt well as she embarks on her new role, although she will be missed by many.
