Dear PAMIC members,

On behalf of the PAMIC Board, we ask you to celebrate with us as Lisa Katterman joins PAMIC as its new president! Lisa will take over the reins on June 6, 2022, and transition for a few weeks with Ron Gallagher before his retirement on June 30.

Please join us in welcoming Lisa to PAMIC in her new role. Through her 20 plus years of experience with PAMIC, she has held various roles, including Government Affairs Chair, Board Director, Convention Committee member, and PAMIC PAC trustee. In addition to her PAMIC service, Lisa has led several professional and non-profit organizations. She has served as President and Board member of the Pennsylvania Defense Institute, President and Board Member of the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, and President and Board member of the Association of Corporate Counsel in Central Pennsylvania. Lisa has steadily advocated for the insurance industry during her career, both at the federal and state levels, while serving in many leadership capacities, serving on the Federal Affairs Committee and Compliance Counsel for NAMIC and various committees for the American Property & Casualty Insurance Association.

Lisa comes to PAMIC with a Finance degree from West Virginia University and a law degree from Widener University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Lisa's 28-year career with Pennsylvania National Mutual Casualty Insurance Company (a PAMIC member) has prepared her well for this role. Her experience with Penn National Insurance gives her a unique insight and knowledge into the mutual world - experiences that will benefit all PAMIC members. At Penn National Insurance, she served in various roles, including Senior Corporate Counsel, Director of Government Affairs, and Director of Industry Relations and Compliance.

Lisa is an excellent fit for PAMIC and will lead with distinction, honor, and service to our association. We look forward to your support and seeing you at the Greenbrier for the 115th Mid-Atlantic Mutual Advantage Convention on July 31!

Sincerely,

John Foster
